Raised access floors from Bodemia: outstanding functionality
What kind of high-quality raised access floor consistently satisfies users? The experts of IABS set out to answer this question 40 years ago when our company was just taking its first steps in the field of robust heavy-duty flooring. They concluded that a floor must dependably withstand the mechanical loads and stresses to which it is subjected on a daily basis. It also has to enable flexible access to the space beneath it, and be highly adaptable in case the room or building or what it is used for should change at some later time. Our innovative approach also meets other, very special needs, for instance by permitting extremely high raised floors and installations above an uneven substructure. To top it off, our floors combine superb functionality with an extremely attractive appearance.
Adaptable to any requirement – and speedily installed
The extremely strong steel pedestals we use to support our raised floors are available in many different lengths with a finely height-adjustable head for even greater versatility. No matter how high you want your floor to be, the stringers (metal rods that interconnect the pedestals for lateral stability) are very easy to lock into place or bolt down. You can choose from three different versions of our tested raised access floors: a lightweight version with solid-steel panels 33.5mm thick, a medium-weight version with solid-steel panels 38.5mm thick and a heavy version with solid-steel panels 44.5mm thick. There are also appropriately sized ventilation panels for each version to ensure good air circulation inside the void beneath the floor. In all cases, installation proceeds rapidly and your new floor can be walked on as soon as it’s finished. This saves both time and money!
Everything from one source for smooth reconfiguration
The required stringers and bridging beams are acoustically insulated in the factory to greatly attenuate impact sound. You can also obtain all other required accessories from us, ranging from solvent-free 1K PUR adhesive with a metering applicator across small aluminium or rubber levelling plates all the way to water-thinnable subfloor sealant. This way you can be sure that everything fits together perfectly and your reconfiguration project will proceed smoothly.
